Cinematic shooter for solo and co-op players

Crossfire: Sierra Squad is a first-person shooter where you are the leader of the titular team, which is part of Global Risk—a paramilitary organization engaged in a war with Black List due to the discovery of a biochemical weapon. With that, it’s up to your team to unearth the truth behind this catastrophic weapon.

Like most Call of Duty games, Crossfire: Sierra Squad includes a single-player campaign—perfect for gamers who are only after the story. Those who love co-op multiplayer are in for a treat, too, featuring over 10 missions for you and your buddies to clear.

Immerse yourself in epic gunfights

In Crossfire: Sierra Squad, your journey begins in the Shooting Range—which is the equivalent of a training ground. Here, you can try out all 39 weapons and get a feel for their reload speed, fire rate, range, and many more. The Shooting Range is also the perfect place to warm up your aiming and master the game’s controls. If you’re feeling confident, you can now jump right into the story.

Consisting of 13 missions, get ready to use everything in your arsenal—from your trusty firearms down to your lethal or tactical equipment—to fend off enemies in front, above, or behind you. Do expect to take down helicopters and other military vehicles, too. You can also catch incoming grenades and hurl them at your foes to get a taste of their own medicine, which is downright satisfying.

While some players will find the campaign to be too short, the title’s multiplayer co-op is its main selling point. In a two-player co-op, you and your friend can complete a whopping 50 missions, whereas the four-player Horde Mode lets you bring in your whole squad for a more enjoyable experience. However, keep in mind that a PlayStation VR2 is required to play the game.

Let the battlefield be your playground

With Crossfire: Sierra Squad offering single-player and co-op missions, gamers are definitely getting the best of both worlds. Although the campaign is shorter, the 50 two-player co-op missions add meat to the game’s overall content. Plus, you’re not only fighting enemies in front but also behind or above you—making for a high-octane experience. However, those who want to pick up this title will need to invest in a PlayStation VR2.
